Bruning Company began in Manhattan in 1897 making blueprints.  Shortly afterwards, the company moved to Chicago and diversified into making drafting supplies and copy machines.  In 1963, Bruning merged with addressograph-Multigraph Corporation.  The catalog includes a history of the company as well as colored illustrations of office furniture, surveying and drafting equipment, printing materials and price lists from August 1939 and June 2, 1953.
