-Diaries

Thomas Butler Gunn was a British writer and illustrator who kept a detailed diary of his experiences in the United States between 1849 and 1863. Gunn’s diaries contain a wealth of information about the New York literary scene in general and the Pfaff's bohemians in particular. Jaime Bourassa, an archivist at the Missouri History Museum, transcribed and digitized the diaries, then partnered with Lehigh University to include the digitized diaries as part of The Vault at Pfaff’s.
