Anna Mary Freeman was both a poet and painter who specialized in water color miniatures. She was close friends with “Queen of Bohemia” Ada Clare and the actress Rose Eytinge. Rose’s cousin Sol Eytinge, who was also connected with the New York bohemians, illustrated the works of British author Charlese Dickens for an American publisher.
