Postcards from the Chris Eline Collection
Chris Eline, retired from the Bethlehem Fire Department, is also a photographer and collector of local history. He co-authored Firefighting in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, 1742-1917 with Karen Samuels and Nancy Rutman. Originally from Bethlehem, he now lives in Philadelphia.
In 2017, Chris Eline donated a collection of postcards dating from 1906-1908, all mailed to Frank H. and Ella G. Kramer, Center Valley, PA. Frank H. Kramer was born in 1859, married to Ella G. in 1884, and died in 1944. He was a farmer.
