Limited Editions Club: A Pairing of Art and Literature

Painters Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso, whose works are primarily displayed in art museums, also illustrated fine books. Featuring works of art on paper by these and other artists, this exhibition includes classics from antiquity, children's favorites, and fine literature produced by The Limited Editions Club, the private press founded by visionary George Macy in 1929. The Lehigh University Libraries acquired this important collection thanks to the generosity of alumnus David Green '22 and his wife Jeannette, early subscribers to the press.
