First Edition. This novel tells the story of Jeff Wilson, who starts work with the Civilian Conservation Corps (C.C.C.) on a railroad gang, then goes on to a career in civil engineering and bridge surveying. The author was a member of the Officer’s Reserve Corps of the United States.
