John Fritz and His Legacy: 50th Anniversary of the New Fritz Lab

The last Special Collections exhibition before the Linderman renovation is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Fritz Engineering Laboratory addition that houses the Baldwin Universal test machine which is capable of testing the strength of materials under tension and compression up to 5 million pounds.

Documents, photographs, and artifacts about John Fritz, Fritz Lab and Civil Engineering Department are on display. The exhibition is curated by Eleanor Nothelfer, Fritz Engineering Lab Librarian, and Ilhan Citak, Special Collections Assistant.

The physical exhibition dates: March 15 - May 2, 2005.
