Tau Beta Pi
Tau Beta Pi, the second oldest honor society, was founded at Lehigh by Professor Edward H. Williams in 1885 expressly to honor engineers. The Tau Beta Pi's colors are Lehigh's colors, brown and white. The official badge is a watch key in the shape of the bent of a trestle, the load-bearing part of a bridge, representing Tau Beta Pi's creed of "Integrity and Excellence in Engineering."
