"The Emperor's Astronomy" by Peter Apian (1495-1552) was dedicated to The Holy Roman Emperor, Charles V and describes the mechanics of a geocentric (earth-centered) universe. Within three years, The Emperor's Astronomy was surpassed by Copernicus' De Revolutionibus.
