Lucius Apuleius. Asinus Aureus. Bologna: Benedictus Hectoris, 1500. Albertus Magnus.

By the end of the 15th century printed books had developed all, or nearly all, the apparatus which makes them so effective as presenters of text to a reader. Later editions have title pages, although the information on date and place of publication remains on the last page in a colophon, instead of appearing at the bottom of the title page. This new division of bibliographic information was short-lived.
