The first American edition was preceded by a separate ten-copy printing for Longfellow's use. At the same time as the publication of The Dante Club, Random House issued a trade paperback reprint of the Longfellow translation, edited by Matthew Pearl. It joins several other currently available editions. In fact, it's doubtful the translation has been out of print since its original publication.

The Divine Comedy of Dante Alighieri; translated by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Boston: Ticknor and Fields, 1867. 3 vols. [Lehigh's copy is bound in one volume]
